Frosted glass is created by processing clear glass to produce a slightly porous, satin-like surface. This process is usually done by acid etching or sandblasting, which causes one side of the glass to lose its full transparency, gaining a subtle, diffused visual effect. This allows light to penetrate the glass in a softened and diffused manner, eliminating harsh reflections and providing greater privacy without completely blocking natural lighting.
